The Expensive Resuscitation

A wealthy man and his wife were driving down the freeway in their new BMW when out of nowhere came a truck -- head on. The wife was thrown from the car and was lying alongside the road. The man appeared to be unhurt. As a crowd gathered, another man stepped forward.

"I'm a doctor," said the stranger. "Let me take a look."

The stranger assessed the situation and said, "I'm afraid I'll have to give her artificial respiration."

"Don't you dare!" said wealthy man, "I can afford the real thing!"
